Creative Piping Solutions Private Limited have ready stock of 310 and 310S Bars and Rods, combining excellent high-temperature properties with good ductility and weldability, Grade 310 and 310S Round Bar is designed for high-temperature service. UNS S31000 Round Bar resists oxidation in continuous service at temperatures up to 1150°C provided reducing sulfur gases are not present. UNS S31008 Square and Flat Bars are used when the application environment involves moist corrodents in a temperature range lower than that which is normally considered “high temperature” service. DIN 1.4841 is also used for intermittent service at temperatures up to 1040°C. The lower carbon content of DIN 1.4845 does reduce its high-temperature strength compared to 310. Like other austenitic grades, these have excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures, although other grades are normally used in this environment.
The standard for the ASTM A276 and ASTM A479 specification covers both cold finished as well as hot finished stainless steel 310 bars and rods, with the exception of those bars being re-forged.
